At Qumo AI ("Qumo", "we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our conversational AI platform.

1. About Qumo and This Policy

Qumo is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company that provides an AI-powered conversational form platform. Our customers use our platform to create interactive dialogues that replace traditional forms for surveys, feedback collection, onboarding, and lead capture.

In most cases, Qumo acts as a data processor, processing data on behalf of our business customers who are the data controllers. This policy explains how we handle both the data of our direct customers (businesses using our platform) and the end-users who interact with the conversational forms created by our customers.

  • Usage data related to our platform

From end-users (form respondents):

  • Responses submitted through the conversational forms
  • Contact information (if collected by the form)
  • Demographic information (if collected by the form)
  • Usage data such as completion rates and time spent

Automatically collected information:

  • Device information (browser type, operating system, device type)
  • Log data (IP address, access times, pages viewed)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services

  • To send administrative information, such as updates or security alerts
  • To provide customer support
  • To personalize user experience
  • To analyze usage patterns and optimize our platform
  • To develop new products and services
  • To comply with legal obligations

For end-user data collected through conversational forms, we process this data according to the instructions of our business customers who control the forms. We do not use this data for our own purposes except as aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With our business customers: End-user responses and analytics are shared with the business customers who created the forms.
  • Service providers: We use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and deliver services (hosting, analytics, payment processing).
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe it's necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as a business asset.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. For our business customers, we retain account information for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes.

For end-user data collected through forms, retention periods are typically determined by our business customers. We retain this data as instructed by them and in accordance with our contractual obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect and maintain. These measures include encryption, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
