Welcome to Qumo AI! Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Qumo AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Qumo AI provides conversational AI software powered by the latest generative AI to moderate and analyse market research interviews. Our service replaces the need for human market research interviewers by deploying chatbots that facilitate conversations with research participants. These "reverse" chatbots lead interviews by asking questions based on the parameters provided by clients or market researchers. This service is intended solely for market research purposes. Any use of our service outside of its intended purpose is strictly prohibited.

3. User Accounts

To use Qumo AI's services, users must create an account. There are two types of accounts:

  • Client Accounts: Clients need an account to create research projects, questionnaires, and to view the results and analysis of responses from participants.
  • Participant Accounts: Participants need an account to start conversations with Qumo's deployed chatbots and to submit their responses.

There are no age restrictions for creating an account on Qumo AI.

4. Credits and Billing

Qumo AI operates on a credit-based revenue model. Credits can be purchased in bundles of 50, 100 and 500 credits. Clients can enable an auto debit setting, which automatically purchases 50 credits when the customer's credit balance falls to zero. This ensures that research projects continue without interruption. If the credit balance reaches zero and auto debit is not enabled, the project will be automatically paused. Each response collected deducts a certain number of credits. Please note that unused credits are non-refundable.

5. Usage Policies

Users must not use our service for any illegal activities or any activities that fall outside the professional scope of our service. Any criminal activities or misuse will result in immediate termination of the user's account.

6. Data and Privacy

We have a separate privacy policy available on our website that details how we handle user data. We collect the following data:

  • Participants: Name, email address, age group (not specific age), gender, work industry, and position/role. These details form part of the demographic profile.
  • Clients: Name, email address, and company name.

User data is stored securely and used in accordance with our privacy policy here.

7. Dispute Resolution

Currently, we do not have a formal dispute resolution process in place. For any issues, please contact our support email at hello@qumo.ai.

8. Modification of Terms

Qumo AI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via email. Continued use of our services after modifications implies acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

Users may request termination of their accounts by contacting our support email at hello@qumo.ai. Please note that unused credits will not be refunded upon termination.

10. Intellectual Property

The responses collected from research projects or studies, along with relevant data such as the demographic profiles of participants, are owned jointly by the client (market researchers) and Qumo AI. Qumo AI may use the collected responses for further product development, including training AI models, and for our own research purposes.
